About TQUK Level 2 Award in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Automated External Defibrillation (Blended Learning Module) - BLS

This is the online part of the regulated qualification.  You must complete the part two practical lesson before your regulated certificate can be issued.

This accredited qualification provides learners with skills to further their first aid training. It is recommended for first aiders in the workplace environment who have access to a defibrillator.

Those gaining this qualification will know that cardiopulmonary resuscitation and automated external defibrillation form an essential part of the chain of survival.  The recommended course duration is 1 day with a minimum of 6 contact hours.  This course can be taken as a blended course using our video online training to halve the classroom time.

The topics covered by this qualification are regarded by Skills for Health as being important in maintaining good practice in the safe, prompt and effective administration of cardiopulmonary resuscitation and automated external defibrillation.

All successful students will be issued with a Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Automated External Defibrillation Certificate, along with a wallet-sized plastic card detailing their achievement.  To comply with current requirements in the medical, dental, care sector and to meet the AED recommendations of the UK Resuscitation Council guidelines, you must take this qualification again after one year.  Please contact ProTrainings for further information.

All our first aid courses fully meet the latest UK and European Resuscitation Council Guidelines 2015 as per the HSE requirements.

“Excellent resource. I appreciate the thoroughness of the demonstrations and lessons and the follow-up questions. The notes were a great tool as well. It was great that I could start this at home on a laptop and pick up where I left off with my my iPad. Very useful and will share with others in my field.”
